It all started when...

For over 15 years, Tango Kelowna has been the heart of Argentine Tango in Kelowna. Offering regular classes and Milongas, along with higher-profile, weekend-long workshops and events, many with visiting Tango Masters from Buenos Aires. Spear-headed by local instructor and business owner, Sharon Sebo, Tango Kelowna reflects not only her vitality and skill as dancer and instructor; but also the dedication and passion of the many (you’d never think it, would you?) Tango dancers both here in Kelowna, and up and down the Okanagan Valley.

Sharon's love of movement started young, beginning dance lessons at the age of three. In her early 30s she discovered partner dance and it ignited a new passion. She soaked up each step, each technical instruction and travelled anywhere dance would take her.

Sharon Sebo has been bringing her unique blend of technique and enthusiasm to the Kelowna dance world since 1998. Her breadth of experience is extensive, and she not only teaches Ballroom & Latin (Sharon’s a qualified Canadian Dancesport Federation member), but also Swing (including West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop!), Salsa, Country, and, notably, the Argentine Tango.

Sharon strives to meet her students wherever their relationship with dance is, and hopes they feel empowered and excited after each lesson.
